Taylor Made Homes, a Santa Monica developer, submitted plans for the six-story building at 4827 South Crenshaw Boulevard.
The new development would replace the former Ivie League pre-school building with a 32-unit apartment complex. Once completed, the new development will include six studios and 26 one-bedroom apartments, as well as parking for 17 cars.
In exchange for five affordable apartments, the developer requested TOC-density bonus to complete the build.
The new project is just one of several apartment buildings in the pipeline along Crenshaw Blvd between Leimert Park and Slauson Blvd.
